Riga Aeronautical Institute organized a workshop in the research laboratory for the students of the 2nd year on the basis of its Scientific Research Center. The students developed graphic 3D project of the component and implemented it on a 3D printer.

Dear RAI students (directions Mechanics, Transport Services, Electronics), who are interested in practice and employment! On the 11th of March from 14.30-16.00 an online presentation will be held in BigBlueButton system in cooperation with Havas Latvia. During this presentation you will learn about the employment opportunities, qualification upgrade and practice conditions in Havas Latvia.
Havas Latvia is the ground handling provider that provides passenger and aircraft services in Latvia.

On the 7th of March, 2022, Riga Aeronautical Institute convened meeting about the Erasmus + programme.

The Coordinator of the Erasmus+, The Chairman of the Convent Marina Romele in her presentation informed the audience about the opportunities of the Erasmus+ programme for students, RAI partners and about an application procedure.

We wish our students success in their future experience of studying and training abroad with Erasmus + programme.

On the 24th of February and 25th of February Riga Aeronautical Institute is conducting the defense of the bachelor and master thesis of graduates in Aircraft Technical Maintenance, Electronic Equipment Maintenance, International Carrier Business Management and Air Transport Systems Management study programmes.

At the invitation of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Latvia, Timur Primbetov, on February 2, the RAI Senior Vice President, Mikhail Karol and the rector Anatoly Melnis, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation in the following areas - an increase in the number of Kazakh students studying in Latvia, a more intensive exchange of students between our countries and the implementation of joint scientific and technical projects.
At the moment, RAI is among the leading universities in terms of the number of students from Kazakhstan. Representatives of the embassy also confirmed the intention of the Kazakh side to continue and develop active cooperation with educational institutions in Latvia.

On the 18th of January, 2022, Riga Aeronautical Institute convened the 26th STUDENT SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE “Aviation Engineering. Transport logistics and management”.

During the student scientific and practical conference, students acquainted the conference participants with the results of research in the sphere of electronic equipment maintenance and international transport organization, and also in aviation and air traffic control spheres.
